Title: What 27" CRT/arcade monitor for 80's and 90's games to buy?
Post by: Crayola on August 24, 2010, 12:10:57 pm
Just getting back into arcade building after a 6 year absence...

So now that the WG 27" D9800 is discontinued and Xgaming seems to be the only people
who have them for a silly price..

What is the next best option? I am looking to play classic 80's and 90's video games on
a arcade/CRT monitor with the classic rounded tube. What brands and retailers should I
be talking to? Any models/vendors people can recommend?

I dont want to go TV or LCD.

I suppose I could deal with a flatpanel arcade monitor if necessary.

Thanks,
Crayola

I think Neiman sells a 27" curved tube still.

The curved tube is 15kHz only, I don't know of any Tri-mode 27" CRTs that aren't flat.
