Title: Sound stuttering and slow gameplay...low disk space??

hi guys


   recently noticed after i added some new roms that i only have 2.5 gb disk space left....all of a sudden sound is now stuttering and gameplay is very slow......would this be the culprit??  Its an old 1.67ghz pc...picking up a dual core pc later tonight...but the current one has been running the games fine untill recently today.

Was your antivirus running a scan?  Gets me everytime!

no i dont have any of that installed on the pc...not even connected to the internet

I would be surprised if the free disk space were the issue, however, is it possible the disk may be failing? That can cause all sorts of seemingly unrelated oddities.

Get Scanner (http://www.steffengerlach.de/freeware/) and delete anything you don't need then run a defrag.
