Has anyone run into this problem? Whenever I play Mr. Do's Wild Ride or Jumping Jack or some other Universal game I have to press the coin button multiple times for it to register a coin. Sometimes I need to also press the Player 1 Start button several times after adding the coin. Everything works perfectly otherwise (for all other games) and it is not a loose connection or anything like that. Any ideas on what the issue could be? :cheers:

It might help if people knew which emulator and what version number of that emulator you are trying to run the universal games on. I just tried "mrdo" using Mame 0.139 and it responded normally. I pressed "5" and 1 coin was added and I pressed "1" and the game started. First I would recheck all the connections. Second I would bring up notepad and try the problem buttons to see what they are doing. Third, if you are using Mame you can delete the .cfg file for the rom in question and see if that fixes the problem.

Thanks. I'll try deleting the cfg files. For what it's worth Mr. Do! has always worked perfectly. The games in question after testing it out are Mr. Do's Wild Ride, Do Run Run and Jumping Jack. I'm running MAME 119u5 (I think).

It may be something simple like a dip switch setting that gives you credit for one coin or one credit for two coins etc.
