My wonderful wife found these great little mini (not real leather) stools for my future Cocktail Arcade table. The tops even come off for storage. I figured I would share.
I just mentioned it to her that it would be cool to have a Arcade Cocktail table down the basement but I would need some sort of cool seating. AND WALLA bang two days later she found these college dorm seating chairs at Khols for $17 bucks each.
What a score. I don't know if they are the best height for the cocktail table but nothing a little wood and black paint couldn't fix if you are handy. They seem a tad bit short but I don't even have my arcade cocktail table started yet so I will adjust later if needed.

Those are pretty cool might have to get a couple thanks for the heads up!

No prob. I am always happy to help or at least post good deals.
I looked online at Khols.com and couldn't find the chairs so it might be an in store thing. Just a heads up.

Check if they can be made to be waterproof. If so, fill 'em with ice and beer! After all, it IS a Cocktail Cab, anyway...
;D

Cool.
They look more like ottomans in the pic. What's their height?
-
Yeah it says ottomans on the tag.
I will measure them when I get home. I might have to beef them up a bit. But they are really nice looking for what I need.

I can see you treating your wife to dinner out this week!
Is she any good at finding valuable arcade cabinets? ;D
-
hahahha nice.
Actually she is pushing me to sell two arcade cabinets and a pinball.
so in with one out with three. But I will still have an upright, a cocktail and my pool table
so it is a fair comprimise (you can tell i don't even know how to spell that word)

Amazon.com has had similar things on sale various times over the years. I have several almost identical to your pic, some with gold beads around the top, others that are round, a double unit (long with two removeable tops), and a blue one, and red one. All except the blue and red ones have removeable smaller secondary units inside. Just to let everyone know there are many varieties, colors, etc. All are from China.

Any photos?

A search of 'ottoman' on the website shows a few similar styles. They are 15" x 15" x 15". I might have to look into that, as I've got a candy cab and haven't figured out what to do for stools yet.
Thanks for the heads up!

Be carefull! Some of those "storage units" were not meant to be sit on, they just look like you can!
-
I've sit on all of the styles we have including many of the inserts. The inserts are often so light they weigh about as much as a big square piece of foam. Actually surprised they have not broke. The main units have wood in them and have significant weight. I don't see them on Amazon's website right now. Some similar though. I've bought some at least 3 - 4 different times from Amazon. All directly from Amazon so shipping was free. Also, all during sales with significant price reductions. They were around the $20 - $25 range max. Some I think less than $20. The double unit was more. I think $60. They were purchased in 2 - 3 different years. Don't remember the time of year. Possibly late or early when they tend to get more stock for Christmas. Each time I was tipped off to the sales by watching the deal sites I monitor each day:

I went there and tried them out. They were super flimsy. They're basically a frame of 1x1's with vinyl stretched over them. There not a solid box. I figured they wouldn't last long at all, so I didn't end up getting them.

Nice find (",)
Oh, and it's 'voila', not 'walla' by the way ;)
