Title: Captain Forever (PC)

I can't help but give it a mention and see if anyone else has played it. I'm completely addicted.
 
It's by the guy who wrote Rom-Check-Fail.

It's a flash based space combat game. what makes it fun is the shipbuilding component where you use the parts of defeated enemies to upgrade your ship.
It is pretty challenging too.

saw some previews just aafter rom check fail. looked pretty neat. i'll have to check it out! Thanks for the reminder.

Tried it for a while, but found the controls to be too annoying for me to ever come back to play it again.  :dunno

Never heard of Rom Check Fail, but I'm having a blast with Captain Forever.

Wish I could play this with dual sticks (like Battlezone or something)
