Title: Maximus Arcade controls just stop working??

hi guys


    I almost have everything working correctly but am having trouble with Maximus Arcade.  Gameplay will be working fine and all i'll quit the front end , go back to windows then re-launch Maximus without changing anything.  When i re-launch it randomly, controls will stop working, cant move along, buttons don't work etc.

   I'm using a xarcade dual joystick controller.  I'm getting frustrated due to the randomness of this problem.  I look inside prefrences in Maximus and nothing has changed everything is the way i set it up, but controls not working.....any ideas whats going on?

You may get more of a response posting on the maximus arcade section here instead of the software section, FYI.

Are you using the 2.10 Final version of maximus?  The beta versions before that had issues not saving MAME controls all the time... however, I haven't had that problem since updating to final version of maximus several months ago.  Although that was just for MAME, not for Maximus menus and stuff.  Are you saying once you restart Maximus it's not remembering your controls for moving through the maximus menus?

I know x-arcade has issues when numlock isn't disabled in windows bios.  That may be related.

Actually what it probably is, is are you using preferences.exe to set up your configuration?  If so don't.  It's very buggy.  Hit control+P when in Maximus to get to your preferences instead.  Looks the same, but works way better.
