Title: Huge Arcade project, Need help
Post by: quadrider1 on August 16, 2010, 11:00:21 am
Hey guys a friend of mine gave me a shed to work in and asked if i could make this, alien extermination, is there any way to emulate this game and if so what kind of interfaces would i need to buy for the guns. Thanks

Seriously?

That game is still rather new, and is still making money for operators on location. I'd say your friend has a couple options: A) Cough up $10K and buy one, or B) Wait several years.

There are higher quality pictures of the cabinet on the manufacturer's webpage:

As for emulation, like piecesof8 said, it'll be a while.

The guns look to me like just analog sticks, similar to T2's setup. I'm guessing they are not actually light-guns.

The only suggestion I would have is to find a similar game and build the cabinet around that. Being so new you won't be emulating that anytime soon.

Isn't it basically just and updated Alien 3: The Gun?

I dont know but it costs a buck, you die pretty fast, and the graphics look horrible.
