Title: Noob need help with mala

Hey guys, just joined this site and i need help with mala.

I had it all set up and working and used instasheller and everything goes fine most of the time but. . . The next time i turn it on it goes to where mala loads up then reboots my computer. It does this about 2 times then finally loads up mala.

Any thought why this would happen?

SOunds like something in Installsheller, just a guess.

I can't imagine that Mala would be doing anything to cause a reboot.

If you disable the sheller, can you just boot, login, then run mala with no problems?

yes, If i take off sheller then it loads up just fine at windows start. But i really want to shell it so windows is gone.

Is there another way?

Hmm, well, you could just set windows to autologon, and then put Mala in the startup group.

Here's how to setup autologin for xp:

Might not be as clean as instant sheller, but it'll let you verify that there's not some other problem.

Once you've got that functional, I'd start looking at your instant sheller config. My guess is that it's something in there that's causing the reboots.

Thanks for the help. Found the problem for some reason when the cab came unplugged and  everything just shut off AKA my little brother, i guess something in instasheller must of got messed up. I did a fresh install and its working now. Thank you
