Title: Poor Sport Buyer

This guy used ebay's "ask seller a question" feature to call me an "a_ssh_ole" for outbidding him at the last minute on a trackball.

I reported him to ebay for abuse and unsolicited e-mail.  

I can't be held responsible for what any of you do now that you know his e-mail address. ;)

I remember when Email Bombs and Nukes used to have "slap on the hand" penalties.  Not any more.

Some people are just jerks. If he was worried about getting sniped, then he should have bid higher. Shame on him.

And Hoagie, yeah seriously.... you try to "destroy" someone's computer nowadays and everyone gets all fussy about it  ;D :P

Thats what I say - I've been "Out-sniped" before, it's the name of the game.  His bid was $20, I bid $31 about 10 seconds before the end, and I end up paying 20.50.  It's not my fault he didn't want to pay more than $20 for it.

These people have to be some of the dumbest people on the planet.  They just can't seem to understand the whole "bid as much as you are willing to pay" thing on ebay, and get all twisted out of shape when they don't get the "killer deal" they were hoping for.  If they REALLY wanted that item, they would have set their maximum bid at $35, and beat you out.  If it wasn't worth that much to them, but it was to you, then you deserve to have won the item.

And to further demonstrate their stupidity, they go to the trouble of sending you an email with an insult in it.  ::)

Have another beer and a laugh at their expense.  They deserve it!
