Just wondering what some of the most successful re-purposing of items are.
For example I'm sure I've seen one build where one builder had used the base off a TV stand for his control panel
(can't find the link atm)

Any other examples of this?

I built my own spinner from a hard drive, but it broke and I've been looking to buy a proper one since then. (Thanks for snatching that one the other day)
;D

I did the hard drive spinner method; plus used half a yo-yo as the spinner knob...

Sorry about that Ginsu! >:D
Im really digging that Pac-Twins panel, I'm going to be modelling my new CP on your design
I love all the extra functionality without destroying the cab or having a 'frankenwing'

I have a test rig in the basement that will soon be transplanted the lowboy I am building.
As you can see, it is setting on a shelf/cabinet. Behind it is an old night stand. I won't be using either of those, but for now, its a makeshift arcade "cabinet"
