Hi guys,
I had a question for anyone who owns, has owned or has played Judge Dredd more than just a couple times... I've had my JD for about 2 months or so now and there have been 2 games where l've achieved mutliball with a drain shield that seems to last forever (l'd guess 2 minutes?) allowing me to rack up unusually major high scores (2x or 3x higher than any other high score on the machine). Eventually during this extended drain shield multiball the machine says "drain shield deactivated" and drained balls stay drained - but it's very exciting when this happens; kind'a like hitting a jackpopt on a slot machine lol. :o
My question is, is this normal? If it is what is it that l'm doing to achieve this mega multiball drain shield? If it's not normal; what on earth could possibly be causing this? I've consulted google a bit but couldn't find any explanation for this "feature". As mentioned above it's only happened twice, and both of those times were during the first multiball l'd achieved during that game.

Have you done a factory reset on this game? I'd start there.
If you can't figure out how to do that via the menus, just remove the batteries for 5 minutes while the game is off.
Jim did you read my original post? :dizzy: I didn't ask how to "fix it", l asked if it was normal; if so how is it achieved, and if not what's the cause.

its probably a setting in the adjustment menus ...
"rules" can be altered via adjustments, you can make mulitball easier to get, etc.
just like the "crane" machines... there set to only "increase" the claw strength after "x" plays...
