Title: K7000 dim white

Hi
I am just after capkit and rejuvenation of WG k7000 25". The colours are great, except white. White colour seems to be a little dim, compared to RGB. Is there any way to improve/readjust it?

it usually takes a little time for the guns to settle after a rejuve .  ;)

assuming white balance is correct,
u may need to adjust the black level

reduce brightness and contrast levels to low levels.
adjust screen ctl ( usually lower pot on flyback ) until an image is JUST barely perceptable .
then adjust brite/contrast to desired levels.

Yeah, what he said.......

If your RGB all look good (bright/solid), then your white may be just that one of those adjustments is a hair off.
So basically it boils down to a bit more adjustment.
Just takes some fiddling with it.
