I didn't know about this; There is a secret input sequence that displays the game's credits:
The Story Of Robotron pt 5 of 7 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAy2f6SUpQU&NR=1#)
This video shows the screen:
Robotron Secret Credit Screen (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zr4CdUdt0w#)
There are a bunch of interesting interviews called "The story of " + name of classic game (Robotron, Defender, Asteroids, Tempest, etc)

Cool! I didn't know about this too! Nice video, thanks!

Neat. Please tell me I wasn't the only one unconsciously leaning to the left to try to see over the guys shoulder while he was playing.

I did it too! I have tried to do the credits screen trick several times but I just never get the timing right to be able to actually do it. Glad to be able to see it done.

I find this super interesting. That game was released in 1982, the same year as Electronics Arts was founded by Trip Hawkins.
I mention this only because it was EA's trademark to credit the makers of their video games, in a manner similar to the movies end credits, considering making video games an art, being done in a game studio, by electronic artists.
Its funny they had those easter eggs early on. Funny but not surprising. I understand how it could get there, two of the most amazing part of making video games is to A- show your name in the game somewhere, and B- know some secret keycode. :burgerking:
