Title: r83 selection display

Hi all, When i select a song on my r83 is selects the correct song, lets say 133 is picked it shows the correct number but soon as is starts to play it says 233 now playing is does this when i select any 1_ _ selections. :dunno

Hello aircm,

Are you saying that it selects the correct record but displays a different number?
If the above is true then you more than likely will have a fault on the selector logic board.
If it selects and displays a number other than you selected then the fault could be down to the Selector Logic, Memory Unit, Mechanism control, the Encoder or that the mechanism timing is out.

If i select song 120 it picks the correct song and shows 120 on the display, as soon as the record starts to play the display changes to 220, any song selected with a 1_ _ does the same thing, I also noticed when it scans at the start all the songs show up as 200 to 299 as it scans. It does not show any 1 _ _.
