Title: Freelance CP design? (Cost?)

Anyone here do freelance art design that has CP experience?  I need to get a CP designed and after losing my hard drive to a hard drive crash like 6 months ago I simply haven't had any freaking time at all.  

This is more a 'Request for Information' type thing (can we tell I'm a gov't consultant?) - curious what people would charge for a fairly basic, Omega Race styled CP layout.

Thanks in advance.  

(Note: Design is 2 joys, 6 buttons each, and 2 player buttons that are using the Omega race cone buttons.  Design would have to be in Illustrator or convertable to illustrator and source files provided at end of project)

Well i don´t know exactly what kind your looking for (Omega race style or a copy with those button worked in) but my standard rate for graphic design is €15/$18 per hour.

For CP's, based on an "average" work-load and size I usually charge around $100. It really depends on the work-load, what's involved with the art, how complicated and such.

Unfortunately I'm full up on commissions right now, and will be tied up for another month or so. But there other BYOAC members here that commission artwork out. SNAAKE, Trebeck, Pixelhugger all have stickies at the top of the Artwork board that you can refer to as well.

Thanks guys - appreciate the insight.  If I can find a copy of Illustrator to use, I guess I'll give it another attempt myself (I have the skills, just not the time.. :/ ) and make backups in multiple places :)
