Title: how to get rid of loading text in nestopia?
Post by: shateredsoul on July 25, 2010, 12:01:15 am
Is there a way to turn off the loading text that appears at the bottom of nestopia when loading nes games?

I'm wondering that too.  For now I'm using jnes, but I'd like to use nestopia due to the actlabs lightgun support.  But I won't use it unless I can get rid of that annoying loading text at the bottom of the screen every time I load a game.  Did you ever figure this out?

NEStopia is an open source emulator. Perhaps someone can tweak the source to skip the "loading" message. (Unfortunately, I can't seem to figure out how to compile it successfully myself. Actually, MAME is the only thing I've ever compiled following the detailed step-by-step instructions. But I'm sure someone else can do it.)
