Ok so basically I have a command prompt window show up when loading any batch file. Of course once the game is loaded, all is well. Is there a way this command prompt window can be minimized while loading, or made to be hidden?
It's not that big of a deal, just curious. I used to run one of the betas for a while and I dont remember this command window coming up in the old version.

try changing windows state to "hidden" under your batch files configuration menu. or did you already try that?

I was just going to ask this same question
And yes, the windows state selection is grayed out in batch files, although it doesn't work for some emus anyway like Daphne, and N64 flash a loading box for a split second, and gameboy has to be in "Normal" window state to show up, so it to flashes a loading box for a split second
I think there should be a way to make a wrapper to hide that stuff I just have no idea how to do it
Anyone have any suggestions?
in the mean time I made a custom desktop theme that is Black with dark gray text so when stuff does pop up it's not as noticeable
it is very hard to read so I have another theme I use when I'm messing with the system, and it's really easy to switch back and forth

So I finally had some time to sit down and do some testing on my arcade unit and the way Maximus handles batch files.
I wrote a tutorial that you can find here to set up PC games using the shortcut method (no ugly cmd box appears in the background)
