Title: changing emulator name in emulator menu?

When you bring up the emulator list (hitting 8 by default), is there a way to change the display name of an emulator in there?

I have DS set up under ZX Spectrum... wanted it to say Nintendo DS there instead :-)

Unfortunately no.  The shortcut feature is hard coded to the drop down list in the preferences.  So it can't be edited.

Hopefully one day Mameseer will decide to do an update and include some new systems.

yeah.. but including your some of the newer systems isn't too bad. Unfortunately it does retain the original emulator name if you use the shortcut list.
