is prince of persia classic for 360 only obtainable through live?
or is there other console's or methods to getting it.
alway's been a POP fan since the original but dont have access to live :-\
-
unless they release some sort of disc collection live is the only way. cant move your XBOX for 10 minutes? you dont need a gold account to buy games.

just dial up in our area :o
and the 50-60 per month for sattelite is too expensive.

Wow...
I didn't know there were any areas like that left.
I literally haven't had a dial-up connection in 12 years. I couldn't imagine having to go back to that.

There are plenty of areas like that. My mother lives in one such area. Really ---smurfing--- annoying too. You have your choice of dial up, ISDN, "radio network" or dish. To add insult to injury, there's a fiberoptic backbone that runs right in front of her house but no one wants to tap it down in the village or up in her area. Even if someone did tap it, no one is willing to run any other line out to her place. ALL of the infrastructure is right there, it's that last damn hop that no one is willing to set up.

kinda the same here on our same road about a half mile down they have broadband dsl etc. but not down on our end we don't live in town though were out in the farmland fields.
phone company say's soon but it's been 6 years and still nothing and if you call you get the same yeah real soon line still so who knows if it wil ever even happen :badmood:

For my folks it's worse. they had wireless DSL, worked great then the provider lost the lease for the tower and now they are back to dialup. no viable options so far...
...they only live 5-10 minutes out of town.

if you trust me enough, you could send me your harddrive and I could download it for you and send the HD back; or find someone close by wih broadband and take your 360 there =)

I may take you up on it.

Yeah, it would not work for you.
The game would be tied to his 360, and you would only be able to play it on yours if you were logged into Xbox Live, which of course is the whole problem in the first place.
The way 360 DRM works is that it is both tied to the 360 it is purchased on, so that any profile on that 360 can use it, and it is tied to the profile that purchased it, so that profile can go to any other 360 and play it as long as they are connected to Live.

ooops forgot about the live BS; doubt you'd wanna send the whole 360, Im sure someones gotta be closer to you
