Title: Older version of Mame32 [solved]
Post by: methodical on July 15, 2010, 02:20:19 am
Trying to set up Mame in MA... The rom set that I have works great with an older version of Mame32 (0.62), but it won't launch in MA. It will show a blank screen or loading and then a blank screen. They play fine when just using Mame32 though. Trying to figure out my options. Tried upgrading to newer versions of the command line Mame and MameUI, but the majority of the roms won't play. Any ideas to get my older version of Mame32 to work in MA?

In the preferences... (make sure you go through the frontend, not the preferences.exe)

Try removing the text from the command line box

%file -skip_gameinfo -nowindow

It's possible that the older version of mame doesn't like the command line options that Maximus Arcade defaults to.
