Title: No longer looking for a Capacitor
Post by: jholman76 on July 14, 2010, 10:41:10 am
I need to fix a monitor board for my project, but I'm not having any luck picking up this size locally.

Does anyone have a salvaged/spare radial 50V 220uF capacitor that they would be willing to ship to me? (id pay for shipping, of course).

PM Me if you can help. You would get a shout out in my project announcement when that comes around soon!

I am in USA, btw..

Thanks.

Joe

Did you try Mouser?

yah, I found plenty of places that sell them, but there is something wrong about paying 23 cents for the item that costs $7 to ship...

I think eBay is going to be my route.

thanks though.

I'm pretty sure I've got 220uF 50V+ caps laying around if you really want.

Digi-Key actually is cheaper for tiny orders than Mouser, now.  They no longer have the $5 handling fee, and they'll do USPS 1st class no tracker, while Mouser altered their shipping to have the minimum service as Priority w/tracker.

Thanks... I went ahead and bought some on ebay. 10 for $1.30 and then $3.50 for shipping  :embarassed:

If they dont work for some reason, I'll let you know.
