Title: Artwork: does it bleed ink onto lexan?
Post by: grafixmonkey on August 04, 2003, 11:59:43 am

I'm working on printing my panel art now, and thought of something...  what if the artwork ink rubs off onto the plexi/lexan/lucite tuf?  Anybody able to say whether or not this actually happens?

Was considering using matte printing from Kinko's, but would rather have glossy print because it will look nicer.  Could print it myself on multiple 8x10's, but that would end up being a lot of extra paper-cutting-and-aligning related effort that I don't need right now.

Doesn't bleed.

Look into regular matte paper but getting it laminated - under lexan that combo looks awesome.  Snaaake is right, glossy will smudge/scratch a lot easier.
