Hey guys need some help,
For some reason MA wont display all the model2 games i have in the nominated rom folder.
seems to have happened to a few people judging from this cache thread from MA forums: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:BBbQq0_hOpIJ:maximusarcade.com/forum/index.php%3Ff%3D1%26t%3D1776%26rb_v%3Dviewtopic+Model+2+game+list+incomplete&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=au (http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:BBbQq0_hOpIJ:maximusarcade.com/forum/index.php%3Ff%3D1%26t%3D1776%26rb_v%3Dviewtopic+Model+2+game+list+incomplete&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=au)
does anybody have the .DAT file that is mentioned in the above thread,
or does anybody have another solution to the problem?
thank guys, really hope the forums go back up soon, or move to another server..

**I have copied and pasted the posting you are referring to from the Maximus Arcade forums below for reference**
It looks like it was a custom model2.dat that Craize had. We need to find a way to contact him? Unless someone else has downloaded it prior to the forums going down? Anyone?
** EDIT ** I have contacted the user Craize and he has attached the file below. Enjoy!

Hey Guys! :)
I found the solution to our problem and actually have a small contribution to go along the way... Hope this helps somebody besides me :)
Fix for Incomplete Romlist
I found a fix to update the Romset to be read as the 0.9 one.... Here's How:
1) Download the attached .dat
2) Go into your Maximus Arcade\preferences Folder
3) Rename model2.dat to model2_old.dat
4) Copy "model2.dat" from the attached file Into your Maximus Arcade\preferences Folder
5) Restart Maximus Arcade
Now that we have the new .DAT in place, you need to rescan your roms... so, start up your MA and do the following:
6) Start up MA, once it loaded hit: CTRL + P to load up the Preferences
7) Go to the Configuration Tab and Select the Configuration for Sega Model 2
8) On the Bottom Select "Scan" and check the box that says "Force rescan of Media Folder"
9) Close

Hey :)
After Delusional contacted me (I am CraiZE from MA) I came to post the updated .dat I once made :)
Enjoy!

I think the mame list problem is unrelated to the Model2 issue.
I've posted a solution for you to try in the original topic:

Quick question Insayne... What did you do to the model2.dat file that makes it work correctly? Just curious.
