Title: Sega Genesis issues on Maximus Arcade
Post by: brownicus15 on July 10, 2010, 09:05:20 pm
Every single emulator works and runs games flawlessly.  However, when I get to the Genesis, and try to play a game, it simply buzzes and doesn't play the game.  Any idea why?

Yes, we need more info:

-  OS you are running
-  Version of Maximus
-  Genesis Emulator and version

But most importantly, does it work OUTSIDE of Maximus?  If it doesn't than it's not an issue with the Frontend.

Got it working.  Simply had to re-scan the media folder.  I'm a noob. :banghead:

Ah, now I understand.  When you are in the menu list in the Frontend, and press a button to play the game, it makes a buzzing sound when pressed.  That's due to the default sound in MA if the list is outdated and is pointing to "nothing".  A rescan will fix it.  Nice job in finding a solution.  :)
