Title: wgv1001 width coil replacement.
Post by: saleem on June 30, 2010, 06:32:55 pm
i need to replace the width adjustment coil in my wgv1001 chassis,i just replaced the flyback today to get the chassis running again and the pic is way to big width wise,anyways,the width adjustment pot is no good,there is nothing to make it turn so it looks like i need to replace the width adjustment coil (or whatver its called)

so i stick anything in there and it wont turn so i cant get adjustment:

i tried to turn the coil and ended up crushing the end of it,i did not know these are made of some kind of paper.

as long as the coil is still intact , leave it for now.
verify that the B+ is 73v +/- 2v
if not , check c101b  .  (this is a "can cap" having 3 caps in one metal package) and c206
A= 800Uf @125v
B= 200Uf @100v
C= 200Uf @50v

also check q101,2 and q204
