Title: Is there a way to view hi scores outside of MAME?

I am using Mame version 138u2 and hiscore.dat.  I'd like to know if there was any utilities that would show the hi score on each game.  Thanks.

I think you can use HitoText (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=83614.0) to display scores outside of MAME.  I don't recall if HitoText can be used as a standalone application or requires a front end.  I know we have support for it in HyperSpin, and I'm sure other front ends have support for it as well.

CPWizard (http://headsoft.com.au/index.php?category=cpwizard) can display HiToText output
