Title: K7400 horizontal sync issue?
Post by: newmanfamilyvlogs on June 29, 2010, 10:50:46 am
K7400 Horizontal Sync Issue (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j76xkaeTmb4#)

K7400, GeForce 2 MX 400 running under Soft15Khz
Would this be caused by the monitor, or the signal being sent to it?

I'm guessing it must be the monitor; I hooked the same video signal up to a K7000 I have and although the chassis is in desperate need of a capkit and probably a new flyback, I didn't see any of the same twitching.

So now what?

Now you take a video and post it so we know what your talking about. Even a pic with a discription would be helpfull.

Unfortunatly modern technology hasn't given me the ability to read minds and see the twitchiness.

Also have you re-capped this monitor. If not I suggest you do it, since by this time, the monitor is many years old and probably in dire need of a cap-kit.

I posted a video in the first link. It displays for me. Did I embed it wrong?

+1 for c706 & c709.

you may be picking up some noise in the sync line. be sure the wires are not running next to any high voltage wires or the power running around the cab. try to keep them a short as (within reason) possible.
