Maybe not for the purist, but the analogue stick is much easier on the thumbs than the dpad.
I feel a console emulator for the living room coming on.....

Anyone have experience hacking this particular model before (as a joystick/button USB interface)? This plus a Joytokey type program would make for a nice cheap one-player barcade interface - I see at least 8 buttons and the d-pad. If there are convenient solder points on the board, could be nice. Maybe even salvage one of the analog pads as a mouse?

There are actually 10 buttons (4 shoulder buttons) + if you press straight down on the analogue sticks, they register as button 11 & 12.
A friend of mine has this exact controller, but I've never taken it apart.
I ordered a pair.
Not sure where they'll end up, but I will use them.

BadMouth:
I clicked on the link, and the price for the gamepad is now $21.99, plus shipping.
If you were able to get them for 9 bucks, good deal! :applaud:

Yeah, that didn't last long.
Might have been a price mistake.
I got my order confirmation for 2 for $18 shipped.
Hope they don't cancel the order.
