Title: Artwork needed MK1 and KI

I am in desperate need of Mortal kombat 1 side art as well as another friend of mine. As for the Killer instinct I am in need of the CP front and sides since I can already get the side art from Scott. Thanks

the sides on KI (and KI2) are just the Nintendo logo I can try to run over to storage and take pix of the sides and front if you'd like

Ya I have the art on them but they are all just scratched up pretty good. I'm just not sure how to create the shadow exactly like the original since the shadow is like lines or something. Still in the learning stage of how to re-create things in PS. Did pretty good with my mk1 cp but that was easy since there is no shadows like the nintendo ones. I seen someone by the name toplessZ or someone had them and said ask scott for them but they are not on his website. He also said ask scott for the mk1 sideart and scott doesn't have them either. Just the Ki1 sideart he re-created.

Right now I'm working on restoring the MK1 side art so it will be available soon

Very awesome. Hope it comes out like the original! Keep us updated. It's the only thing left to restore on my cab. That's all my friend needs too. gonna do a 6-1 when I find the boards. I was also getting someone to do scans. Lets see who gets it first  :D

My suggestion on the boards is to buy mk4 and emulate the rest it will save you a ton of money,also finding a working MK3 board is a pain  and another good thing on the emulation side you will be able to play MK4 gold.

Well I already have mk1, umk3, and mk4. Umk3 came with my cab actually.

I was talking about MK3 thats the one thats hard to find. UMK3 is what became of most of the MK3 boards as it was a rom and security chip update

Ah ya that's true but I don't need MK3. Umk3 is good enough for me. You could always just buy the roms and downgrade a umk3 board.
