Title: Desaturate RGB signal for better color intensity?
Post by: the end melody on June 19, 2010, 09:29:49 pm
Hi all,

I have an arcadevga card hooked to a scart pal tv.
Generally speaking the image is sharp and detailed, with a genuine arcade feel.

The color intensity is a little high though, making some of the colors (especially red) bleed a little, making it look milky.

It tried to do a general color desaturation by using the catalyst control panel, but I couldn't find the desaturate option.

Is there any way to perform this without resorting to catalyst CC? A stand alone software of some sort, perhaps?

Any ideas?

Thanks!

I would like to add that I already tweaked the tv built-in brightness and contrast settings,
plus the individual values for each RGB color channel (via service menu).

I suggest re-posting this in Monitor/Video.
