Hey all,
I was looking to improve my cabinet and I stumbled across the Arcade VGA 3000 from Ultimarc:

I have a 27" RCA TV with s-video and component in hooked up to an average Radeon (forget which). Will this work/improve my rig at all?
Thanks!

An ArcadeVGA is not for you because it is mainly used for real arcade monitors only. Stick with what you are using cause the chipset on the ArcadeVGA 3000 is very low or entry level for 3D.

Yah I had a feeling. Thanks!

Why does 3D matter? Mame does not use any video card 3D engines...it is all emulated...

It doesn't matter but some people want to be able to play SFIV on their cab so the ArcadeVGA3000 does the trick but barely IMO.

There is a more straightforward answer: The ArcadeVGA card does not support S-Video. Its impossible to get arcade resolutions on an S-Video TV.
