Hello
I am currently running latest mamewah with older mames (.37b16, .62)
I want to make a list in mamewah with all my working games that i have. I used romlister for .98 etc which works great however you must have a xml file to use it.
I have download corresponding dat, and it lists all the games rom_folder_vs_dat_file, however I get annoyed... as for example there is like 6 versions of streetfighter zero 2 and of the 6. 3 are bad.l.. I want to scan the roms and only working ones show?
Older mames do not use xml. Is there a tool out there to create lists but show the names not the zip names? of the games that I have? I amnot sure how ...pls help
thnks
Jim

try romcentre that will show the rom names and repair any if needed

Download the dat file for your version of mame from here (http://www.logiqx.com/Dats/MAMEBeta/MAMEBetaHistory.php). (make sure it's the (cm) version)
Put it inside your mame folder. Then modify the a couple of lines in the .ini file for mame. The one inside Mamewah\config
dat_file C:\juegos2\mame36\Mame36.dat
list_generation_method rom_folder_vs_dat_file
Then open mamewah and generate a list.
