Title: Mr. T?
Post by: orchidius on June 11, 2010, 10:21:57 am
Just a quicky,

Does anybody know if there's a problem at GGG which would cause them to be unable to answer any mails? I've been trying to get a hold of Randy at GGG with a question for a week and a half now, but I never get a response. Tried PM through the forum twice, and technical contact form on the GGG site multiple times with multiple email adresses.

Anything i'm missing? :s

May be caught in a spam filter?   :dunno

Here's what Randy said yesterday in a thread:

If you have any other issues, especially of this type, please drop an email.  It's usually much quicker than waiting for an answer in the forums.

Did you actually email him or did you use the form:

http://groovygamegear.com/webstore/index.php?main_page=contact_us&zenid=b4c24a7c3262548a5ff24389ac24fa77 (http://groovygamegear.com/webstore/index.php?main_page=contact_us&zenid=b4c24a7c3262548a5ff24389ac24fa77)

I would imagine that using his form eliminates any risk of it getting killed by a spam filter (unless it's his responses getting nixed, in which case... check your junk box!)

I have the same issue,  him and I were going back and forth about Keywiz problems then he stopped replying.  That was about a week ago and I sent him two or three messages now.

Personally I think Mr. T should have reprised his role in it. He's still young enough to do it. That Night Elf Mohawk can still kick some butt I'm sure

Very entertaining action movie! If you liked the original A-Team or like over-the-top action movies you'll like this one. Stay through the credits - a few cameos at the end (but not Mr. T).

Agreed!  If you liked the original you should like this one.  I was especially surprised at how well Rampage Jackson did.  He's no Mr T but still managed to make the character interesting and funny.  The chemistry between the 4 actors was surprisingly strong as well.

Quinton has a natural charisma to begin with and is a genuinely funny guy, so I'm not surprised.

Like getting MR T. on a plane….you would have to drug me to get me to see that movie.  “I pity the fool who goes to that!!”

I'm here.  Just very, very busy at the moment.  In the middle of some R&D projects (which will result a new item or two), and needed to shut out the rest of the world, other than building parts for orders, for a few days in order to make any progress on them.  Just cleaned out my mailbox, so if I missed anyone, please send another email to make sure it didn't get scrubbed in the spam filter.

If you go to see the movie you will find out the origin of his fear of flight.   ;D

I appreciate the direct explanation here, and totally understand. 2 weeks just seemed like an awful long time not to answer any questions if you're running a business :embarassed:. I'll resend my reply to your to-the-point response to make sure it didn't end up in the wrong place, and wish you the best with all projects you're working on!

Ben,

I answered your question.  You are asking about an item which is not currently, and never was for sale, and which I have stated numerous times won't be unless I can find a way to do them that doesn't interfere with every other thing we need to get done every day.   It doesn't matter how many times, or in which venue you ask the question, the answer will be the same.  Sorry that doesn't work for you, but that's all there is at the moment.   And frankly, your comment about my business practices is offensive, whether it was intended to be or not, and seems like an awfully strange approach to getting me to re-arrange my priorities in favor of the parts you are looking for.  Don't assume that I haven't been answering emails in that time frame just because I didn't have an answer for yours.

I think we left it at there being a problem with your system somewhere where the software was concerned, but the KeyWiz was working fine.  I ran out of suggestions, and there's only so much one can do from a remote location to troubleshoot an incompatibility with a user's setup.  But I sent you another email anyway.

I'm sorry if I offended you, I did not mean to in any way (my level of english probably didn't allow for me to get the message over the right way). The reason why I even bothered to ask was because I had read that some people have been able to get one by directly asking you. True or false, we have a saying that goes something like "you always have a no, and maybe you can get a yes". Secondly, since it has been out there for review, I figured it must be in a far stage of development, near launch. All in all enough reasons for me to politely ask you if it would be possible to purchase one directly from you.

I did not ask (or expected) you to re-arrange any of your priorities in favor of me, not at all. Just wanted a quick answer on my "is it possible" question. Didn't have to be long, just a simple to-the-point reply like you sent me the other day.

I once again apologize for the inconvenience I have caused and for offending you in any way. I do hope you can forgive me and we can leave the whole situation be without any hard feelings.

Thanks again for your personal response,

Ben
