Title: Ultrastick plugin not showing in 'event plugins'

I have no idea why this is happening, and have found nothing in a search here or in the install info. The OS is basic XP (pre-SP). Maybe this is the issue?

Hmmm...not much to go on here.  Do other plugins show up?  Can you send me a listing of the files in the MaLa directory and subdirectories?

The more I think about this the more it seems like you're missing the c runtime libraries on your system.  Try downloading the redistributable c runtime libraries HERE (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=9b2da534-3e03-4391-8a4d-074b9f2bc1bf&displaylang=en) and install them.  Please report back on whether that fixes the issue or not.

I am not using any other plug-ins. Thank you, I will try that.

Yay, this worked. Thank you.

After installing the runtimes, I had to re-install the plug-in.
