This was inspired by this good PC games for Cabs thread.

I use to hate on the idea of playing console games on cabs, but then i thought it might be ok if the games were at least Arcade style. This to me means games in the Genre of Beat em up, SHooter, action / adventure, sports, and fighting.
This should be mostly console exclusive games, but console ports i feel should also be added if they are Superior or offer something really new compared to the original arcade. (For example SNES Ninja Turtles 4 with its new levels.)
This will probly be really unorganized at first, but hopefuly with enough support we can turn this into a good list. I plan to Organize by system so lets gooooo! (also lets cap it off at the psx, n64, saturn gen since I cant emulate passed that)

I just picked up Mercs for the megadrive. Somewhat like Commando...
Favourite current arcade game on a console- Tempest 2000 on the Atari Jaguar (",) Dunno how good the emulator is though. I seem to recall people having problems emulating ataris custom sound chips or summink...

Where's the NES list?
- Gyruss for the NES is a pretty awesome update to the original. It's nicer looking, has bosses, and a special ability.
- Abadox
- River City Ransom (awesome beat-em-up. Plays great with a proper arcade stick and buttons)
- The Guardian Legend
- Crisis Force
turbografx 16
- Alien Crush
- Devils Crush
- Time Cruise
- Bonk series
- Blazing Lazers

Just run the Dos version. :)
No problems with emulating there!

N64:
Fighters Destiny 1 and 2
These are considered to be the best Fighting Games on the System. They have a neat little difference in gameplay to conventionel fighters since they don't have health bars and instead a score system based on the use of special moves. Very Cool!
SNES/GENESIS:
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters
Two totally different Fighting Games based on the Turtles Franchise. They borrow a lot from the street fighter formula, but still pretty neat. I prefer the genesis version because it has a better artistic style, story and gameplay. Graphics and Sound are very good for the Genesis.
