Can anyone help me with Instant Sheller? It's driving me CRAZY!!! :banghead:
The problem I'm having is that it is all working bar auto login. It comes up saying it couldnt log in and I have to manually hit "Return" to get past the password screen.
Has anyone else had/overcame this problem?
I'm running XP home if that helps?

Tom over at the GameEx forums will support Instant Sheller since he is the author. I don't know if he frequents this forum, so you would be better off posting there IMO.

Funny I was dealing with this last night. Here is the info I think you need:
Bypass The Windows XP Log On Screen
To make logon an unattended process:
Click [Start] [Run] and type
control userpasswords2
Click [OK]
The [User Accounts] Property Sheet displays.
On [Users] tab, clear the [Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer] check box.
Click [Apply].
Enter a user name and password that should be used to logon automatically in the dialog box that appears.
Click [OK].
Go to [Control Panel] [User Accounts] [Change the Way Users Log On and Off].
Uncheck [Use the Welcome Screen] and [Use Fast User Switching]
Hope it works for you!

yes, something like this was happening to me too- although I didn't get any message saying it couldn't log in. Basically it logs in perfect the FIRST time I enable instantsheller, then every subsequent time it gets stuck on the boot screen...
I will try the suggestion above, thanks for the tip!

Thanks guys but that didnt work and was killing me!! So i did some digging around of my own, found an article on Microsoft's website to add another key to the registry and it worked a treat!!
Here's the link:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315231 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315231)
I already had the "DefaultUserName" string in my registry, so added the "DefaultPassword" string and if i remember rightly this fixed it straight away... what a result..
Anyway, I hope this helps anyone else with the same issue...
And more importantly.... my 1st ever cab is nearly finished!!!

The cab is at my dads as he's got more space to build it, plus I'm off to the States for a week this Wednesday to make my fortune in Vegas so I'll have some pics taken when I get back!! Exciting times now the end is in sight!!
