After way too much time, I hooked up my first control panel to my PC last night. Other than the buttons, I have 2 U360's, a SpinTrak, and a U-Trak which I ordered on 24/08/2009.
Anyway, I hooked everything up and installed the WinIPac and UMap software. Everything seems to be working.
But, when I use the U-Trak as the mouse (as USB), I am not getting vertical movement, only horizontal. I checked that all the connections were tight and no luck. The SpinTrak is giving me horizontal movement (but I haven't checked the mouse buttons yet on the SpinTrak).
Any thoughts? Not sure where to even start here.
Thanks!

Perhaps you hooked up the spinner-part to the Utrack instead of both X and Y axis. Is the spintrak giving vertical mouse movement?

I have both the SpinTrak and the U-Trak on USB connectors (from Ultimarc). I didn't wire anything myself.
Andy passed a couple of ideas in an email I will try tonight.

This has been solved. Took a while, but that was my fault more than anything else.
After some emails with Andy, I verified the optical boards and the wiring in the U-Trak were all OK. Andy shipped me a new USB encoder board which fixed the problem. Switching back reproduced the problem, and back to the new board fixed the problem.
Once again, Andy and Ultimarc have exceeded my expectations. I can't say enough good things about 'em.....
