Title: XP Pro 64bit Boot Screen Help!!!!!

As far as I can see bootskin will not work unde XP64...is there anything else to make XP64 seamless?  :dunno

Bootskin might not work, but you should still be able to replace the boot image manually. Have you tried just walking through the steps manually?

I had some probs with bootskin, so I ended up finding out the right format for the image, converting my main skin image down to that and replacing the boot image manually. Wasn't too hard but I don't remember the steps off hand. I found them via google though.

thats what I was thinking but wanted to try anyway. yes bootskin made my 32bit crash constantly. i guess i'll do what you told me...thnx! :applaud:

I'm not sure if these work in XP64 but they sure did on my 32 bit xp.  I'm going to try and get my 64bit xp shelled this weekend and will post what I did and if I was successful.
