Title: 3m Microtouch calibration problem - help needed
Post by: shrunkenmaster on April 30, 2010, 01:36:53 pm
I've acquired a Kortek 17" LCD screen with 3m Microtouch, but I can't seem to get it calibrated. During the calibration setup, it gives you 3 points to touch on the screen. The first two I hit fine, but the third screws it up - when I try the drawing test screen it's way off.

Anyone else here with a 3m Microtouch that could help???

this is very common system used on games like paragons in the u.k,90% of the time the touchscreen will be damaged in that area-try making you picture alot smaller and recalibrate,at least that will prove that area is not damaged
a problem we found was drink would penetrate and corrode the membrane of the touchscreen so look for evidence of that
double check you controller is plugged in firmly

double check you controller is plugged in firmly

I always forget to tell people to do that.  :P

Try going into the MICROTOUCH CONTROL PANEL then TOOLS and RESETTING the controller.
And then re-calibrate.
