Title: Tron & mame0137 not working

I can't seem to get any version of Tron working with the latest MAME 0137. I get past the nag screens, the screen blanks for a few seconds, then I get a "MAME has encountered an error and needs to close...) error.

Any suggestions?

It seems that as the MAME versions get higher, more and more games are not working?

Am I wrong?  Are they actually getting better?

Appears to be fixed in .137u4.  But I haven't tried it.

Happens all the time ... pick a version that plays what you want and stick with it until there is a compelling reason to upgrade.

Thanks guys,

At first I thought it was a bad recompile but I tried the 'official' 0137 and had the same problem. Going through some other games and having problems elsewhere too, so I think I'll downgrade again.

Hey Encryptor, not quite. Having problems mounting my monitor, finding a decent printer and now software issues! Will start a build thread when I get a minute.
