Where is everyone getting vertical laminate cheapfor resurfacing machines? I'd like to use a more durable surface than Pica vinyl. The vinyl isn't very forgiving when you brush your machine against something. The cost is less for vinyl than I got quoted for laminate. Any suggestions?????????

home depot menards and lowes carry's them.
there is no cheap place though really as real laminent is pretty pricey per sheet.
I think mine were like $60.00 or $80.00 a sheet

I paid $57.50 to some guy on eBay for one sheet. It's the cheapest I've seen.

If your Home Depot or Lowes doesn't carry it then your next best bet are mom and pop kitchen cabinet stores. I have had quotes as low as $65 (CDN) from a mom and pop shop for a flat black 4'x8'

Or you can use the search function and read the multitude of topics on this subject...

That is why I got that Deja Vous feeling... :badmood:

Even though that's true I noticed that these threads always get plenty of answers, having people ask the same questions gives us opportunities to help and show the info we know. If people didn't ask the same questions over and over we'd have less threads to post on and respond to, so I'm not too sure I'm completely against people asking this questions. (plus it does vary by location, and what if old post no longer have relevant info?).

But what's the point? To make yourself seem knowledgeable because you read a post that is easily accessible to everyone, then showing that you retained that information to make it seem like your own? It's like, what if someone asked, "how do I make my JLW joystick quieter?", and someone responds "you can modify micro-leaf switches from Groovygamegear by inserting the activation lever into it...blah blah blah..." when it was already originally posted by Ond, who put in the hard work to begin with and was kind enough to share the information to the community.
If it's vital information, it would be stickied, or would be easy to find in the search tool anyways.
In regards to relevance, this exact same discussion was posted about 2 weeks ago in another thread. That's still pretty relevant, and if the OP actually bothered to search, he wouldn't need to start yet another post.
Why duplicate that discussion and create a magnitude of threads regarding one topic?
gah, I'm feeling like Ginsu these days... :police: :lol

Well... look at it this way. If a friend asked you, because he knew you were a ipod expert, hey do you know when the first ipod was made? Wouldn't it make you a jerk if you said, "go look it up"? If I knew you liked fishing.. and maybe I wanted to try fishing, wouldn't it be completely acceptable for me to ask you about fishing before looking it up in a book?

I know it's part of forum etiquette and social rules to search first, but I just wonder people take the time to type up a message where sometimes the answer would take just as long to type. In person people would react much differently.

Well, if we were standing in a the library when he asked me that, I would say "dude, stop being so ---smurfing--- lazy and look it up. You have all the information you want, at your fingertips".

It takes just as much time to ask the question as it is to search for the answer. Use the technology, it is wonderful.

I happend to miss the other post but found this one so maybe it is a good thing he posted his question.
I am sure someone else could have answered it eitherway anyhow but for instance I seen this post and not the other.
plus things change like plans price's method's etc. so an answer or method or certain tool one week could be obsolete the next becuase something better is out or there is a easier way now or this place now has them for 50% off etc..

is this them? http://atlanticmica.com/ (http://atlanticmica.com/)
they dont seem to have a email address though if it is :(
the home depo near me does'nt carry laminates anymore they said some of their other stores did but not them.
i bough konami cab that someone had added laminate to.. you can see it pass the t-molding but wow it looks and feels great, the prices i've seen people mention for laminate puts it out of budget for most people though.
