I have a server that I access through RDC and it has an AGP card with no onboard VGA. I want to use that card for my MAME cab, but the server doesn't seem to startup past the POST without the card in it. It uses Award Pheonix BIOS, how do I fix it so it doesnt check for a card and countinues to boot to Windows?

I think you can do it with DOS but not WINDOWS ?
Try going in the BIOS and setup the Video for CGA or if there is an option for NONE.
Also make sure to setup the Don't stop if any error is reported etc.....
Why not just get a cheap AGP card and be done with it.

Hey WhereEaglesDare. I checked your site at http://www.SCMPGaming.Com (http://www.SCMPGaming.Com) and looks like you are in the next town from me. I am in Pickens, SC. If you need an AGP card just to get that server going I have one I could probably give ya (low-spec card but AGP). Me and some buddies around here (one from Central where you are) do the LAN thing from time to time, too. I have about 6 full-time rigs just for the LAN parties we have (older specs, but play the oldies like Quake 3, original UT, and Halo 1 pretty well). Maybe one day we could get your gang and mine together for a party. Let me know something and we can work out a meeting spot or I can just post the card to you. Shouldn't cost much. Cheers.
