Title: Need suggestion - where to install my spinner on my Tankstick

Hi all - first post.....I have a turbo twist II coming and want to install in in my Xgaming Tankstick. Looking for suggestions on where to place it. Right now I am planning on only using 1 but want to leave the option for a second one later if I want to.

I had mine where the 2-player button is. I rewired the bottom buttons of the 8 player buttons to be credit and the player start buttons. The button where the 1-player button used to be turned out to be useful for Tron -- you can spin with your fingers and shoot with your thumb. I liked this setup so much, I built it into my cabinet.

For the time being you can remove on of your existing buttons and drop the Turbo Twist II in there.  For me I would probably mount it under player 2 since I am right handed and mounting it in the middle might interfere with the trackball but that is just me.

I mounted a Spintrak at the top of the left bar of the large X.  It's an OK spot, but not great.  Can't rest your hand without pressing buttons.  But you can rest your forearm below the buttons.  And, I should have checked what was under that location before I drilled.  The two front side buttons caused some interference so I had to add a small spacer under the flange of the Spintrak - lucky for me that worked. 

I may look at moving it to one of the P1 or P2 button locations and move those buttons somewhere else.

Personally I'd mount it somewhere off the unit, perhaps on a proper arcade control panel along with some other controls.

I'm partially kidding. :) I'm just not a big fan of these units :)

I'm not a big fan of X-Arcade units either, but they're a mighty powerful gateway drug!  ;)

around this area it doesnt interfere with the trackball at all
