Looks great to me. I wish I had that kind of hardware.
Compare it to my rig:
733 P3
512 mb pc100 ram
60 gb seagate berracuda IV
Radeon 7500
soundblaster live
Everything you listed runs fine on my lesser rig on a less pretty 27" sharp tv using s-video out.

I just want this thing to work like a charm so I have a lil overkill, I have never made anything in my life so I figure I shouldn't make the first thing a disappointment.

What do you mean by a custom install of XP?
-
Do you have a budget for this whole project? Have you done the math on all those parts? I've spent "chingos" of money, and my specs aren't nearly that nice...
-
I really didnt mean anything by custom install...just getting rid of uneccesary programs. No i don't have a budget but I do realize this thing will cost me like 1500. But it will be worth it.

You don't have to spend A LOT of $$$ to get a good system..
I went the other way.. went to an arcader auction and got a complete machine for 150$CDN (~95$US at the time) at it came with a 25" Arcade monitor.
I just purchased an AMD motherboard (~35$US), AMD 2400+ XP CPU (~95$US) and 256MB DDR RAM (~30$US). Together with a J-PAC and Andy's Arcade VGA.. my budget is much much less than 1500$...
just my 0.02$..

Yeah, I spent alot of time and money on my Arcade, but it was definately worth it. I just had a P3 computer lying around, so I had no excuse to buy a better system.
