How many of you all live in Holland ?
And whereabouts in Holland?
I know there won't be many of you, but I'm sure more than I already know of.
We'll be making a trip out there in July or so, so I was curious.

Hey Kev, that's great news !!!
You know you're welcome here !!
I could list a couple but I guess the guys themselves should respond. Maybe you should post this question on the Dragonslairfans forum, because (despite it's name) there are a lot of Euro collectors, and esp. a number of Dutchies there.
Here's the forum: www.dragonslairfans.com (http://www.dragonslairfans.com)
Cheers, André

I used to live in Beverwijk ;)

Hey Level42,
You were the first person I thought of of course.
I know there's others just can't keep track of who all.
I still have to figure how to spell and pronounce where we'll be going and then map it in relationship to everyone. (as I am the clueless one over there)
Not sure what all we'll get a chance to do while there, but figured I may as well try to squeeze in a visit or two if possible. (this being more of a memorial visit, we'll see how things go)
You can PM me a location and whatnot if ya want, then I'll check it out from there.
Will need my girlfriends help on the logistics of all this.

Well Holland is a tiny country as you know, so you're always "around the corner".
PM sent.

I remember at 16 my friends and I cycled from Beverwijk to Rotterdam and back in 1 day...The one thing I miss most about Holland...proper bike paths/lanes. North America could learn a lot about cycling from Holland.

Cycling, of course is perfect for such a flat country. When I've stayed in Den haag, we normally cycle. To Scheveningen or just around town. God i love those bike path traffic lights (",)

Is that sarcasm?
Here cyclists are handled as ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- by traffic lights.

True but at least there is a spot for cycling...try going between cities here in North America and you will end up dead if you aren't careful.

Yep. Used to be as bad in Australia too. But they are making more an more bikepaths now. I just came home from the city, which I guess is 5 km or so. Rode all the way on bikepaths (",) . I wouldn't bother otherwise, mixing it up with traffic into a city is not my idea of fun...

I'm from Castricum myself, lived in Amsterdam for 18 years, now in Singapore for the last 4. Darn, I haven't posted in months! No access at work and no time at home ::) By the way, my favorite arcade was in Beverwijk (next to the cinema). Got my first split screen Pacman there and was almost banned...
