Title: FS: Misc good-condition parts from unfinished project [US/AZ/Phoenix]
Post by: Boz on April 12, 2010, 03:00:12 pm
I'm finally parting out my unfinished project cabinet. I've been dragging it around for a year or two in it's current state and don't really even play it that much anymore. To be perfectly honest, some of the parts I'm not even sure what would be a reasonable price. I won't refuse any reasonable offers so let me know what interests you. I'll use flat-rate USPS shipping boxes for whatever size the part requires. Drop me a PM.

I'm open to selling the entire cabinet, though I didn't think anyone would be interested in something so big.

reasonable price? $100

3 very heavy-duty spring loaded adjustable hinges. I can't remember the spec, but I believe these open up to greater than 180 degrees. I recall these were pretty expensive because of the range and the load capacity. I think $50 for the set would be ok.

4 "half-ton" leveling casters (paid $32ea)

5 six foot male/female USB extenstion cables
No ide what I paid for them but $50 seems reasonable.

2-channel auto-sense stereo amplifier. Works great with the smart-strip. I think I paid over $100 for it on eBay.
reasonable price? $50

The cabinet wood is 3/4 birch veneer. Probably not worth a lot. If I don't sell that, I'll junk it.

how many HDMI ports does the monitor have, how much is the free shipping?

I'm assuming it'll fit in my basement, right?

This will be good timing then. I move at the end of the month and will have probably gone through a bunch of my stuff. Tell you what. I'll buy the beer and you can help me install the security camera's.  ;)

I'm not sure if he's around any more. I've not received any replies, and moved on in the meantime with my purchases.  Good luck!

He is probably busy with the move and details, including the above-mentioned security camera installation...

Well I guess either he doesn't want to sell the stuff anymore, or he sold some of it to someone else.

We agreed on april 15th that I would buy both U360 and the spinner.  He was supposed to remove them from his panel and tell me so when he did so that I could send him the payment.  I even gave him my personal email address so he could reach me quicker when necessary.  Sent him a couple of PM's since (he did not gave me his e-mail addy) but he never replied to me.  And I know he came in the forums a couple of times since last april by checking his profile.

Bums me out a little because whenever I bought things from people in these forums, I always made sure that payment was sent fast so that transaction was as smooth as possible.

I really don't want to flame the guy, but him not responding to PM's after an agreement is not fair to me in my opinion.

He moved into a bad neighborhood...  I think he might have been shanked by one of his crackhead neighbors...
