Title: Changing WINXP bootscreens and welcome screen
Post by: TalkingOctopus on July 29, 2003, 03:40:53 pm
Hey everyone!

I would like to hide the fact I am running my cab on a computer as much as possible and windows is screwing up that plan.

When I turn on my cabinet, I am greeted by the win xp boot screen.  I knew you could change it with 98, but is it still possible in xp?

I would be happy with anything other than windows, (read as a blank screen).

Also, windows welcomes me with the blue welcome screen.  Once again, I'd rather have a black screen.

Has anyone done this?  If so, how difficult is it?  If anyone could provide any resources for this, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!
