Title: Weird Mamewah issue with 'OK' screen
Post by: Nailz on July 29, 2003, 12:50:05 pm
At the moment I am running .952b and all works great except for getting past the "press 'OK' to continue" screen.  For some reason, I am unable to get past this just moving the joystick left or right.  I am using Windows Mame .59 in my cab so I don't have the option of setting this up in my mame.ini, nor am I looking to go up to higher version of Mame to get it as I would then need to start getting new roms.

Any other FE I use, I am able to move left and right and pass this screen, and strangely enough, the left and right motion works once I get into the game, the only place it doesn't is passing the 'OK' prompt.  I can reload Mamewah, and then it works the first time, but then going in again, it reverts back to not working again.

Any ideas?   I am using Win98 SE if that helps.

Thanks!

Wierd...

Try running MAME from a commandline to see if the same thing happens...
