Title: RESOLVED Mobo front panel connector wires: where can you get the terminators?
Post by: Diewrecked on April 06, 2010, 07:55:49 am
Hi guys

I'm not sure how to describe this but I'll have a go!

You know on the front panel connectors from your PC case each wire is terminated with a little square block with a label on it (eg power switch +, power switch -, HDD light +, reset switch - etc) - what are those little blocks called and where do you get them from (in the UK) please? I want to get a couple to connect to the cables going to my power switch (which is a button on my CP rather than the power switch on my PC case) but I don't even know what to search for!

Many TIA
Cheers

It's ok I've resolved this. I took the fascia off the front of the case and snipped the two wires going to the power button, then just wired them up to my Cherry switch underneath what will become the power button.

Nice and easy :)

Cheers all
