Title: Any advantages to using ArcadeVGA2 with an LCD monitor?
Post by: Jakobud on April 04, 2010, 01:48:52 am
I'm building a cabinet with a normal computer LCD screen.

Is the ArcadeVGA2 card useful/necessary/recommended when using an LCD?  Or is it just a waste of time and I should just use any old video card?  Any advantages to using or not using it with an LCD?

I read that the ArcadeVGA2 allows special arcade resolutions but only when using the VGA connection.

You will really only get an advantage when pairing it with a SCART 15khz capable tv or arcade monitor.
